We offer funded training and qualifications in dry stone walling and hedgelaying to support young people looking for a land- based career.
Latest news: our training grants for 2022-2023 have all been awarded. The Rural Skills Hub has given a total of £10,000 funding to 22 individuals, to help them obtain accredited qualifications in dry stone walling and hedgelaying with the Dry Stone Walling Association and the National Hedgelaying Society.
Dry Stone Walling qualification training is delivered by The Dry Stone Walling Association at the National Training Site near Kendal leading to Lantra qualifications at Initial Level.
